Education
2016-2018
Associates in business at Wake Tech Community college
I studied for my associate's degree at Wake Tech, but I've always had a drive to work in the field, on-site, where I can actively engage with each project. During college, I had the opportunity to work for an engineering firm that was a startup, operating in a bootstrap style. I was hired early on and quickly learned the industry's ins and outs, eventually becoming one of the top technicians in the firm. I am forever grateful for this experience, as it opened the doors to the solar industry for me.
Since then, I have worked on thousands of residential solar projects, flying thousands of drone hours to gather precise data for effective solar installations. My experience extends to spending 2-4 weeks at a time in various locations across the U.S., helping establish new marketplaces for solar engineering firms. Additionally, I have trained several individuals nationwide, sharing my expertise in residential solar surveying to ensure accuracy and quality in every project. I truly enjoy this work, and my hands-on approach ensures seamless integration of solar systems for homes, contributing to the broader adoption of solar energy.
